These terms

By using CrewBinder you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. The sections below “What CrewBinder is” are the same text the app shows in Settings → About & Help → Legal & Terms of Use. Questions: support@crewbinder.net.

What CrewBinder is

CrewBinder is software for organizing quotes, invoices, jobs, time and expenses. It shows summaries of the information you enter. CrewBinder is not a tax preparer, accountant, law firm or licensed professional of any kind, and nothing in the app is tax, legal or accounting advice.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of your records, the documents and terms you send, your licenses and permits, the taxes you collect and pay, and anything you file. Review tax summaries and document wording with qualified professionals.

Sample wording and categories

Default document terms, expense categories and Schedule C labels are examples to help you get started. They are not a determination of what applies to your business. Contract clauses and document templates are provided “as is” for your convenience — review them yourself or with legal counsel for your state and local requirements. Mileage rates and tax set-aside percentages in Bookkeeping estimates are your own planning numbers, not tax calculations.

Electronic signatures

CrewBinder records the signature, the signer’s name and when it was captured. Whether an electronic signature is valid for your agreement depends on your terms and the laws that apply to you.

Your account and data

Your records belong to the account that created them. They are stored on your device and, if you sign in to cloud sync, also in your company’s cloud workspace so your crew and your other devices can use them. You are responsible for your sign-in, for everything done in your account, for who you add to your crew, and for keeping copies of records you need — business and tax records often must be kept for several years.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone: your jobs, quotes, invoices, payments, signatures, clients, receipts, photos and documents are erased from your device and can’t be recovered in the app. If you signed in to cloud sync as a company owner, your cloud sign-in and the companies you own, with their synced records and files, are deleted too; if that can’t be done, nothing is removed and the app tells you. Export anything you need first. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account. A technician who deletes their account removes only their own sign-in and device data; work done for a company stays with that company.

How long your records are kept

Your business records stay stored on your device (and, if you use cloud sync, in your company’s cloud workspace) until you delete them. CrewBinder does not delete records because an account is inactive or a subscription has ended. Archived jobs, clients and expenses are kept until you delete them. Removed photos, time entries and equipment are kept in Recently Deleted for 30 days, then removed automatically the next time the app opens. Delete Account erases all records on this device immediately, and an owner’s synced company records when signed in to cloud sync.

Plans and your crew

Crew features require the Small Team plan. If you change to a smaller plan, your crew and their past work are kept but paused: technicians can’t clock in or receive jobs until the Small Team plan is active again.

Software provided as is

The CrewBinder app and its documentation are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, CrewBinder is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Plans and subscriptions

  • Starter — No subscription required. Create up to 3 quotes each month.
  • Solo Pro — One owner. Unlimited quotes.
  • Small Team — Owner + 4 field technicians

Starter is free: 3 quotes or invoices a month. Try Solo Pro or Small Team free for 14 days if you're eligible; after that it renews unless you cancel.

Payment is charged to your store account. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your trial or billing period to avoid renewal. Manage or cancel in your store account. Introductory offers are available only to eligible subscribers.

If a subscription ends, your saved work stays in the app. Deleting your account doesn't cancel billing.

Purchases are also subject to the App Store or Google Play terms; refunds are handled by the store you paid.

Using CrewBinder responsibly

  • Use the app only for lawful purposes and only with information you have the right to use.
  • Don’t try to access other people’s companies or records, interfere with the service, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows.
  • If you invite technicians, you are responsible for who you add and what they can see.

Changes to these terms

The app and these terms change over time. This page is generated from the app’s own text, so it always matches the current version; the date at the top shows the last change. If a change significantly affects you, we’ll also tell you in the app.
